4th Annual Shadyside Art Festival

The 4th Annual Shadyside Art Festival is organised by Howard Alan events from Florida. It took place on Walnut Street from April 12 to 13. Setting up for the event began at an early hour, around 4 a.m., due to the narrow streets, which posed significant logistical challenges. However, by 8 a.m., I was fully prepared for the day ahead.

Although this festival featured a smaller number of artists compared to the August event last year, the turnout was impressive. I received alot of interest in my work and managed to make a few sales, even though I did not match the success and sales from previous year.

Many fellow artists expressed concerns about their sales figures, attributing the downturn to the current economic climate. Despite the challenges, the festival provided a valuable opportunity for exposure and engagement with the community.
